Verró
Terms of Use
These terms govern your use of the Verró mobile app, published by Elliot Alderson. By installing or using the app you accept them.
1. What Verró does — and what it is not
Verró sends the photo you provide to an AI model and returns an opinion about whether the bag in the photo appears authentic, together with the reasoning behind that opinion.
This is not a certificate, an appraisal, or a professional authentication. The model can be wrong in both directions: it can call a genuine bag counterfeit and a counterfeit bag genuine. Photo quality, angle, lighting, and unusual production variants all affect the answer. Do not use Verró as the sole basis for buying, selling, insuring, or bringing a claim about any item. For anything that matters financially or legally, use a qualified human authenticator or the brand itself.
2. Subscription
Verró offers a single auto-renewing weekly subscription.
- The price is shown on the paywall in your local currency before you confirm. Payment is charged to your Apple ID or Google account.
- The subscription renews automatically each week unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
- An active subscription allows up to 25 authentications per rolling 7 days. The allowance is a usage cap, not a credit balance: unused authentications do not carry over.
- Manage or cancel at any time in your App Store or Google Play account settings. Deleting the app does not cancel the subscription.
- Refunds are handled by Apple and Google under their own policies. We cannot issue refunds ourselves.
3. Acceptable use
Upload only photos you have the right to use. Do not use Verró to harass anyone, to misrepresent our results as an official authentication, or to try to reverse-engineer, overload, or circumvent the usage limits of the service.
4. Your content
You keep all rights to the photos you upload. You grant us only the permission needed to send the photo for analysis and return the result, as described in the Privacy Policy. We do not use your photos to train models and we do not publish them.
5. Availability
Verró depends on third-party services, notably Google's Gemini API. Those services can be slow, unavailable, or changed without notice, and the app may be unavailable during maintenance. We do not guarantee uninterrupted service.
6. Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, the app is provided “as is” and we are not liable for losses arising from reliance on an authentication result, including purchase decisions and resale outcomes. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited under the law that applies to you, and consumer rights you hold under mandatory local law are unaffected.
7. Trademarks
Brand names shown in Verró belong to their respective owners and are used only to describe the item being examined. Verró is independent and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to any of those brands.
8. Changes and termination
We may update these terms; the current version always sits on this page with its date. We may suspend access for a user who breaks these terms. You can stop using Verró at any time by cancelling and deleting the app.
